“We’ve Seen The Footage, We Can’t Imagine The Pain” – Arsenal FC Sympathies With Victims of Lekki Shootings

English football club, Arsenal, has sympathized with victims of the Lekki killings of October 20, noting that they cannot imagine the pains of those affected.

The premier league club sent their sympathy to their Nigerian fans via a post they made today, October 24, on their official Instagram and Twitter pages.

According to Arsenal, their attention was brought to the sad event via comments and replies of their Nigerian fans on their social media posts.

The club’s message reads,

“To our Nigerian fans, we see you, we feel you. We have read our replies, we have seen the footage. We cannot imagine the pain. Our thoughts are with everyone in Nigeria. Stay strong, stay safe”
