Peruzzi’s Album “Rum & Boogie” Overtakes Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” In Barely 12 Hours Of Release

Peruzzi’s new album ”Rum and Boogie” is making waves already, barely 12 hours after its release, the body of work has replaced Wizkid at the top spot of Apple Music chart.

Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh popularly known as Peruzzi, is a talented act signed to Davido’s DMW, and he has secured the top spot on Apple Music albums on the same day he dropped his latest project, Rum and Boogie.

For months, he has kept fans anticipating as he announced in 2019 that he would be dropping a new album, and the highly anticipated project was released Rum & Boogie in the early hours of today, April 9, 2021, and in less than 12 hours it peaked at number 1 on Apple Music albums, overtaking Wizkid’s album “Made in Lagos.”

He had earlier taken to his Instagram page to announce the release of the 20-tracklist project with the caption;For God So Loved The World, That He Gave His Only Begotten Son…. You Know The Rest.. My Second Album RUM & BOOGIE OUT NOW!!!!!!! FEAST !!!!!!!The ”Majesty” hitmaker has now taken to social media to react after landing the top spot on Apple Music.

The album, “Rum and Boogie” features top singers such as Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Phyno, Don Jazzy, Patoranking, Set Up and Boylexxie.

Speroachbeatz, Show Beat, Zaki Amujei, M Eff, Freshvdm, V Stix, Clemzy, Lussh, P Prime, and Rexxie take production credits for the album.
