A Nigerian lady, Iniubong Umoren, who went missing after she left her home in search of a job in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, has been reportedly found dead.
The young lady’s friend, Uduak Umoh, with the handle @Umohuduak1, confirmed her death in a series of Twitter posts on Sunday, May 2. According to her, the criminals killed and buried her friend.
The lady had earlier raised an alarm on Twitter on Thursday, April 29, over the disappearance of her friend, Umoren.
According to Umoh, the deceased had gone for a job interview at an undisclosed location along airport road in Uyo, the state capital. Some hours later, she got a frantic call from Umoren and that was the last time she heard from her as the phone has been switched off.
Reacting to the lady’s cry for help, the police said two persons have been arrested over the incident, and the anti-kidnapping squad in Akwa Ibom state was investigating the case.
The Police spokesman Odiko Macdon said an autopsy will be conducted and justice served.
Many Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn her demise. Some others are sharing photos of the alleged killer, Uduak Frank Akpan, calling for justice to be served.
Temi Otedola wondered when women will be safe. She wrote on Twitter:

According to Chidi Chikere, the deceased followed all the precautions but still ended up dead.
