Drama As Acting NDDC MD Faints During Probe

Unfolding drama at the ongoing probe of the IMC of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, as the Acting Managing Director of NDDC, Professor Kenebradikumo Pondei, fainted during questioning.

Lawmakers investigating corruption allegations in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) on Friday summoned the Acting Managing Director/CEO of the NDDC,

Professor Kenebradikumo Pondei and the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs appeared before them today to give answers concerning the budgetary allocations of over 8.1billion which has been spent.

During the questioning, Kemebradikumo Daniel Pondei almost fainted before the House of Representatives Committee. This led to commotion at the venue, as members of the committee rallied around him trying to resuscitate him, and according to reports he has been taken out of the hearing to the hospital.

He fainted during the ongoing probe of the Commission by the House Committee on NDDC.

The session has adjourned for 30 minutes.
