Following the allegations made by Davido’s personal assistant, Israel DMW, concerning DJ Cuppy’s fall out with Nigerian rapper Zlatan, Dj Cuppy has vowed to sue Isreal DMW.
Ifeoluwa Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed that no contractual agreement regarding the song “Gelato” was breached, as confirmed by her lawyers, and she is sueing Davido’s aide, Israel DMW, for libel and defamation.
Recall that DJ Cuppy revealed Zlatan blocked her on social media for reason which are unknown to her despite having a hit song “Gelato” with him. Get the full gist here.

After Zlatan played the “I don’t know her stunt,” Davido’s aide, Israel DMW, described Cuppy as a “Fake Friend.”
He wrote on Instagram :
“Kudos to someone like Zlatan, who took a bold step, by flushing out a full fake friend like Cuppy, who was just using his head, all in the ne of my papa na Otedola. Zlatan, did a hit collabo with her ordinary one kobo, he no see. She also took Zlatan to Abuja, for her fund raising, where she made billions of naira, and didn’t even zee for one kobo till tomorrow. No accommodation, no feeding. Zlatan, had to spend his own personal money at Transcorp Hilton to Carter for everyone including me. Dis na 2021 abeg.”
Dj Cuppy revealed she’s sueing Isreal DMW on twitter accompanying her post with a photo from “Gelato” music video.
She wrote :
“For the record… There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers… However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation!
