Buhari Wants to Lift Twitter Ban For 2023 Election – Nigerians Youths

Nigerian youths have called out President Muhammadu Buhari over his recent moves to unban Twitter.

Reacting on Twitter, Nigerians said Buhari’s bid to unban Twitter now is because he wants to use the platform to campaign for his party in the 2023 election.

Recall that Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture had on Tuesday said the government would lift the ban on Twitter operations “in a matter of days”.

Mohammed made this known after the week’s virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) at the State House, Abuja.

He disclosed that Twitter has accepted the conditions given to the platform to operate in the country.

Reacting, some Nigerians took to their social media pages saying the plan to lift the ban on Twitter is because of the campaign for the 2023 election.

However, some applauded the government for listening to Nigerians
