Good news as American TV series Bridgerton is coming back in a second season. The second season will return this spring, the special edition of Lady Whistledown’s Society Paper reveals.
“The incomparable cast of Bridgerton will return to production in Spring 2021,” the pamphlet said. “This author has been reliably informed that Lord Anthony Bridgerton intends to dominate the social season. I will have my pen ready to report on any and all of his romantic activities”.

As noted by Deadline, casting is currently underway for several new roles, most notably the female romantic lead opposite Anthony Bridgerton in The Viscount Who Loved Me, Kate Sheffield.
“We have a bunch of new characters we are going to be introducing,” Van Dusen said this morning in announcing the renewal on Today with Hoda & Jenna. “Anthony is going to have a love interest next season, and I think it’s going to be as sweeping and moving and as beautiful as viewers of the first season have come to expect from the show.”
Season 1 starred Regé-Jean Page as Simon Basset the Duke of Hastings and Phoebe Harriet Dynevor as Daphne Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh, Ruby Barker, Nicola Coughlan among others.
