Banks In Osogbo Shuts Down Over EFCC Protest

Banks in Osogbo shuts down following the recent incident in Osogbo, the state capital of Osun.

As earlier reported, there was tension in Osogbo on Tuesday morning as some youths suspected to be internet fraudsters, popularly known as “Yahoo boys” were said to have resisted arrest by alleged operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Offence Commission (EFCC).

Reacting to the incident, youths of the state have taken to the streets to protest against EFCC harassment.
