Alleged Rape : Dbanj Sues His Accuser, Seyitan Babatayo, For N1.5 billion

Nigerian singer, Oladapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D’banj sued his rape accuser, Seyitan Babatayo, a sum of N1.5billion through his Lawyer, Mike Ozekhome.

This is coming few weeks after he demanded N100million compensation from Seyitan, who claimed he raped her in an hotel room back in 2018.

The letter signed by D’banj’s lawyer, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) contains an order for Seyitan to pay a sum of N1Billion for general damages over the “Untold Embrassment, Derision, Public Ridicule,Odium, Mental Agony and also physiological trauma” which her tweets and accusations have caused the singer.

She was also ordered to pay a sum of N500, 000 for “aggravated punitive and exemplary damages.”

Seyitan Babalola, is also expected to show up in court within 30 days. If she doesn’t, a judgement may be passed in her absence.
