5 Feared Dead as Gas Plant Explodes in Delta

Five persons are reportedly feared dead on Friday night in Agbor, Ika South Local Government, Delta State after a gas plant explodes, affecting buildings and leaving many persons with severe injuries.

As noted by Punch, The source of the fire was yet to be known while reporting the incident, but a source confirmed firefighters were at the scene making effort to put off the fire so as to save lives and property of persons living around the gas plant.

The explosion left several persons dead from various degrees of burn and others badly injured.

“The explosion erupted from Osadebe Gas plant along the expressway, close to Eye Clinic Agbor, Delta State, but we are yet to know the cause of the fire,” the source said.
